1. Overview
Sarada Vidya Mandir (CBSE), Raiganj, is committed to ensuring transparency and fairness in all
financial transactions. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be
granted for online fee payments made through our website.
2. Fee Refund Eligibility
Refunds are applicable in the following situations:
• Duplicate payment: If a fee has been paid more than once for the same fee head and the
same student.
• Failed transaction with debit: If the amount was debited from the payer's account but the
transaction was not acknowledged as successful by the school's system.
• Excess payment: If an amount greater than the prescribed fee was paid due to a technical or
user error.
• Fee reversal approved by school management: Based on formal request and management
decision (e.g., student withdrawal before the academic session commences).
3. Non-Refundable Fees
The following fees are generally non-refundable once paid:
• Admission fees, registration fees, and prospectus fees.
• Tuition fees paid for a running academic term, once the student has attended classes.
• Any fee paid toward annual charges, examination fees, or extracurricular activities after the
activity has commenced.
• Payment gateway transaction charges (as per BillDesk's applicable rates listed above) are
not refundable.
4. Refund Process
To initiate a refund, the parent/guardian must:
• Submit a written application to the school office within 15 days of the transaction.
• Attach proof of payment (bank statement or BillDesk transaction receipt).
• Provide the Transaction Reference Number (TRN) as shown on the payment confirmation.
After verification by the school accounts department, approved refunds will be processed back to
the original payment source within 7–10 working days.
5. Mode of Refund
Refunds will be credited back to the same bank account, card, or wallet used for the original
payment. Cash refunds will not be issued for online payments under normal circumstances.
